Nevermind that the picture's blurry, but ain't this shit pretty? You can still see the colors, which was the main point of it. This is my 'omg, my new job is at FDLE, full time, and holy crap, paying more than I was hoping for' yarn purchase. STFU, I got it off ebay and for several dollars a skein cheaper than I would be able to at any store. I've already balled it up and started knitting with Circus (the bottom colorway), which I think would've been better off named something like 'tropical fish'. My thing for purples and yellows mixed together definitely influenced this yarn purchase...

And then I found out Lorna's Laces also makes a camouflage colorway in their sock yarn. OMGWANT.

Since I'm on the topic of socks, I finally got the jacquard print Plymouth Sockotta socks finished:




Oh yeah, ask me how much I don't care that the stripes don't match up. I'm not anal about that shit (no pun intended) but fuckall, I'm just glad they're done because the second one took forever. I don't get people who freak and rip back a whole sock if the patterning doesn't match up exactly. And I mean, it's not like they look bad when they're on my feet or anything.
