Second sock syndrome finally

Second sock syndrome has hit. I have two unmatching socks. On the left foot, plymouth sockotta. The other of this pair is actually in progress... but then I stopped to finish the one on the right foot, which was started over a month ago, but finished just a few minutes ago. Not too happy with the colorway on the second one - when I bought the yarn from Elann.com, it looked to have more purple in it, but when I got it, it was light grey, dark grey, and tan. I like my socks colorful, goddammit.

Knitpicks.com has really been tempting me. Last night I got an email update from them saying they've introduced even more sock yarn. So, my wishlist there grows. It's now up to 65 skeins, $210. Which, if you think about it, isn't bad at all, per-skein in price. 39 of those skeins? Sock yarn, of course. The other 26 is cotton I'm considering for Kyoto. Purple main color, and light green for the sash, but I dunno how that'd look on me. I really want to do something in a bluish purple with a very light yellow as the sash, but I'm having difficulty finding colors in yarn cheap enough that match what I want - not to mention, I don't know how good that'd look on me.

Clapotis progress. This thing is fuckin huge. Unlike most people I see who make this project, I don't think I'll be trying this again.
