Well, I guess they posted the other day, after all. Oh. Well. Pictures.

First off, a pile of stuff that just sort of haphazardly got thrown that way: The bagged up yarn for my granma's scarf, clapotis, and a giant red disc that needed felting.

And then there's an after pic, too, taken this afternoon after I got off work so I don't look like my usual slobby self. The hat shrunk down quite a bit, but I still think it's too large:







Well, it's supposed to end up looking like his - YES THAT'S RIGHT, I SAID HIS. AYA IS A DUDE IN A DRESS. I really, really, really, really need some better reference pics of his Love is Dead Camo!Lolita costume. I have all of 3. It's really too bad that Angelic Pretty took down the ones they had on their website before I remembered to save them (before I had the urge to do this cosplay.

I've also bought the belt - $3 from the flea market. I keep forgetting about that vest he's wearing. Have no idea where I'm going to find one of those.

And now for the last two pictures in a post full of pictures. The one on the top here is socks in progress! On the left is the sockapal2za sock, heel turned, gusset in progress. So far I'm glad that the patterning looks okay. It's not doing anything weird. I'm always paranoid about that when it comes to self-patterning yarn that I'll totally fuck it up. Next to that is the second of a pair that's taking FOREVAR to make. Unrelated, above that is a pair of shrek ears I made about a year ago, because one day, I will go to a convention dressed as Princess Fiona.

Next to that is the purple yarn from handpaintedyarns.com that you can see all wadded up in a bag in the first pic. I had to take it out and wash it because it smelled really strongly of vinegar. Unfortunately, the pic doesn't really show the very subtle variations in color.

Okay, I'm done with the picturespam now. And I have to say, I really, really, really hate the way this new 'blogger pictures' thing fucks with the layouts of my posts and makes them look all crappy. T_T
