ANGST!

I didn't name my website/blog 'Paranoid Citroid' just because Marvin is my favorite character from HHGG and because of the whole lime thing. There's that huge part about paranoia, all sockpal related.

Like, 'OMG, what if she hates them? What if they don't fit? What if they get lost in the mail?' Stuff like that. It doesn't help that I see people making these intricate fancy lace or cable socks. I have a tendency to like simplicty and to let the color changes in the yarn do the work. The most intricate I get is a 3x1 or a 2x2 rib.

I'm also at a complete loss as to what to include in the package. I was thinking of including a gift card to walmart, seeing as she was one of the people who had to evacuate New Orleans due to the hurricane, but what if she's one of those people who hates walmart? Or the type of person who doesn't like to accept charity from anyone? I'd like to give her something useful, but as I know very little about what kind of person is, I don't know what to get her! I couldn't even pick out yarn, because I don't know what other kind of knitting she does.
