what is this 'knitting' you speak of
So, for the past week or so, I've been too busy actually having a life (gasp!) to knit. Well, I saw Serenity twice more. I went to Rocky Horror on Friday night. What part of Saturday that wasn't spent recuperating was spent scouring town for cosplay supplies. No, Army Surplus store, I'm not paying $80 for those boots. I'm not paying $60 for used ones, either. Ugh. On the other hand, except for the wig and boots and a toy gun, I believe I have everything I need. Now that I've also got the Angelic Pretty pics for reference, I can sit down and figure out how I'm going to do this.
Then comes the truly hard part: Figuring out how to work a sewing machine for the first time since 10th grade.
As you can expect, combine this with my arms hurting like bastards all week, and this leaves very little time for knitting. In fact, the only thing I've got done since last sunday is a few rounds here and there on any of the 5 socks I have currently in progress, usually in the 5-10 minutes or so at work in the parking lot before I have to go in.
I want to knit, but my arms and hands hurt so bad, I know I shouldn't. And no letting up... next weekend I'll be having a (gasp!) social life again, so no rest for the wicked and all that...
