3/6/07 - Not dead. Just beat halfway there by life since the end of September - kicking out a deadbeat thieving roommate, 2 promotions at work including a complete and total 180 on my work schedule - I now go to work at 9 PM instead of 9 AM - holidays, projects, obligations to other people... yeah. Anyway! First thing's first: Major corrections to my 'translation' of UNKNOWN. I must have been on crack when I first did it, because I went back and redid it since I mistranslated huge chunks of it. Apologies. I once again must stress absolutely that I am not fluent, but I'm trying my best with the skills I got (it's called 'Badly' translations for a reason...). The band section? Gone. I've been puttering around with it for years, but I just don't have the energy or patience to keep up with the research required to keep it up to date. Besides, I'm sure nobody even looked at it. You may also notice the 'blog' link is gone. Yeah, I will no longer be updating that. Having a blog just for knitting things that I consistently forget to update is redundant when I have a LJ. AWA 2006 photos are up. Silly me, I didn't get any pictures of our cosplays, sigh. Speaking of cons, this year I plan to attend Metrocon in Tampa and Dragoncon in Atlanta... and I will be selling my jrock buttons. If you run into me, feel free to say hi or introduce yourself or whatever.
There are also some new translations of dubious integrity! We've got Asian Kung-Fu Generation's Uso to Wonderland and Mafuyu no Dance as well as MUCC's Akatsuki. I will probably not attempt metronome's Electric Travel and Cycle Recycle albums, as it appears that someone's beaten me to the punch.
The previous update:
8/28 - Long time no update, but I have many good excuses - including moving house - but I'm not going to bore people with the details on that. More importantly, 3 new translations up: metronome's keisei movement and UNKNOWN and SID's Yoshikai Manabu 17sai. But wait, there's more! I finally have uploaded my Metrocon 06 photos and compiled the con report. As for updating the band info sections... well, first I wonder if anyone even bothers to read them? Ah, well, even if they don't, I'll continue working on them (even if at a snail's pace).
