Kanji

Translation
I want to die I close my eyes Return my everything to nothing
I want to disappear from memory, I think when I can't sleep
In the cloudy sky Rain Scatters down yesterday's weather, like a lie. "To live is like being in pain," and the rain beats down
If the wind suddenly blows strongly for a moment
How will the changing scenery fall?
Deep in the distant seas, sunk at the bottom, I am alone trapped in this shell
Warned that grief is pointless, that smile is saved
Deep in this misty forest, my heart progressing into darkness, sealed in a coocoon of grief
Unraveling these threads of sorrow
The darkness of dawn, it does not pass and remains in these hands, questioning the dying clouds
When this toy boat floats in the stream*
Can it return to that place?
In the rain, I murmured
"I hope tomorrow the weather's better"**
NOTES
Title: Dark before the dawn
+This line is sung differently than what is written after 'nageki no ito'. Because I am having difficulty understanding WHAT is being sung, I've done my best to interpret the kanji.
*Specifically, a boat made out of bamboo leaves. But putting that in the lyrics is very unwieldly.
**"Ashita tenki ni naare" is translated literally in the lyrics so as to keep the double meaning but is a Japanese phrase akin to 'tomorrow is another day'.
