Translation
I've already stopped, I'm now at my limit
There's no growth, I've got to stop already
My plan's finished, it surpasses my imagination
I've added to my delusions, if it's no good, it'll cave in
Denial
Let's trample the flowers underfoot
There's a swindler
Let's trample the flowers underfoot
There's a deception*
Keep it up
Let's trample the flowers underfoot
There's a criticism
Let's trample the flowers underfoot
There's infinity
NOTES
- There's no really good translation for the title, but I think the closest you can get is 'the small things you throw away will show up in town'. I've been told that it is a reference to an underground movie, but I can't find any more information on that.
* I look up 'kiben' in an English-Japanese dictionary, it says 'sophistry'. I look that up in a dictionary, and I get 'a plausible but fallacious argument'... so then I consult a thesaurus because that's far too long to put in a translation, and it gives me a few options, amongst which is 'deception'. So, yeah.
- Sharaku writes such hopeless lyrics.
