Lyrics: Lida Kanji
明日がどこにあるかなんて 知るはずもない世の中 春を急ぐ 風の色は いつも僕を悩ませる
迷わずに ひたすらに この人生を行きたい
憧れは強く高く 夢見る事は忘れず 愛を語る 花の彩は いつも僕をなごませる
迷わずに ひたすらに この人生を行きたい 星が描く 未来地図は いつも僕をまどわせる
戻れずに 泣いたなら 風上に立てばいい
迷わずに ひたすらに この人生を行きたい Romaji

How am I supposed to know where the world of tomorrow is? Hasten spring, the wind’s colors can always torment me.
Without being misled, I want nothing more than to walk this road*
Longing for the thing I dreamed is so strong that it won’t be forgotten Speak of love, the flower’s colors always disarm me.
Without being misled, I want nothing more than to walk this road The map of the future that the stars draw can always lead me astray.
Without going back, I stood facing the wind and cried.
Without being misled, I want nothing more than to walk this road TRANSLATION NOTES:
*This is strange. There’s kanji here that translates as ‘life’ but is pronounced as ‘michi’ (road). I think it’s a sort of pun or wordplay. It could be translated as ‘to be bound for this life’ but ‘to walk this road’ sounds better in English.
